Nothing
2005
A series of small projects exploring the idea of nothing. In Elizabethan slang, the term nothing was used to refer to female genitalia. Shakespeare uses nothing as a double entendre throughout his plays and sonnets. The aim was to foreground the Elizabethan subtext of nothing by using contemporary ideas of nothing to evoke sexually explicit innuendos.
